Artur, thanks for your welcome and tip :) I hope that I'll learn something more about OST due to this page and discussions. I participated in the first polish workshop Open Space on Open Space last November. It was a good time.

Thank you for accepting my membership. I have known about the concept of open space when I was n brazil for the warrior without weapons program and I hope to use it while playing the oasis game in Egypt.

Art - you asked why are ratings companies still alowed ? I don't have an answer. There are a lot of financial services organisations and professional firms which to my mathematical eye have serially abused the peoples trust. It seems that in many of our countries, politicians regard financial industry as untouchable - perhaps because the finances of countries are in such a muddle that politicians need favors from financiers as much as financial men need favors from politicians. I have direct experience of the EU making this situation a lot worse from conversations I moderated for 2 years at The EU's knowledgeboard.com but  cant find the way past this confict barrier.

Hello Arthur,

Thank you for the welcome you gave me. I would love so much to start the OST in Africa. I just returned from a meeting with my partners and were discussing on the name and programmes our NGO will be running. We named the organisation as "Centre for Social Re-engineering" My partner is getting it registered. We are meeting tomorrow to complete the registration process. We want start work on January 2012. Its a great suggestion. Can you give us the guidelines on how to start. We are preparing to take off in January. We are using November-December to fit our office and put activities and programmes in shape. Our focus will to facilitate communities to challenge long held unproductive values and take initiative in their own development. Address bad social practices like corruption, promote family values and self-esteem. Focus will be for all ages to bridge generation gaps. We welcome the idea. I will further share with my partners.
