Thanks, Lisa, for your welcoming note. I've been following the somewhat testy thread on OSList and thought to check out what's being built here on Ning. I assume a lot of activity has been generated here by that discussion. Cheers.
I see you have been pretty active in greeting people. Great! In fact I invited like 50 people to this community, and I see that a lot of friends have signed up (who weren't at the OSList before). We can all do the same with the invite function (at least for those of us who have a gmail or similar email account). Nice developments.
Thanks Lisa for your welcome !
Like you, I am trying to figure out how this Ning site works and how to change my page again. As you say, this looks a bit dramatic.. (which does not look like me ;-))
In Portuguese: "Bem-vindo/a". At least that you must know, my dear. Very good work welcoming everyone - and saying jokes in portignol...

Hello loveliest,
Thank you so much for all that you put into creating this space. It looks beautiful, feels inviting and it's wonderful to experience the fluttering activity here! I love that we can see each other's faces... a nice step of evolution from simple text. And color and pictures... yes!! Big hug to you.
Hi Lisa!
And yes, it's almost like you wrote, because in portuguese the word "welcome" is split, like this: bem (wel) vinda (come).
Thak you

lol I'm nothing of a maestro! I know Artur, he's my teacher in university! Your portuguese is very well disguised with that spanish mix, it works very nice.. ! =)
I've followed the OSList for some time and appreciate your posts. I'm sure that your evolving website will demonstrate your generous and hospitable invitations to all.
Cheers back to U Lisa and other collegues in OSI US. We just finished our board meeting over here and in the meeting we decided to give this Ning site a gogo. So we are closing our own down - which was set up a while ago but so far not used. We think it's a great idea to combine this local and global space! So here we are!
Dear Lisa, Thank you for your warm welcome. And congratulation to you, Artur and Shufang for ceating this social network for the OST community on Ning! Great idea. I am sure it will become a wonderful community addition to the OSList and to openspaceworld.org.
