From experiencing it at the first Tools for Change conference held in Malaysia in February 2009.
What surprised you the most about this method?
the trust its places on human beings to self organise around that which they have passion for.
How does Open Space fit into what you do with organizations and / or communities?
Very well....I believe that the deeply liberating aspects of OS offer much potential for women's movements and organisations...I am very keen to encourage as many feminists to explore in our meetings and processes.
more about you
besides being interested in exploring alternative processes for large group interventions in the context of women's movements, and notions of interconnectedness in our daily experiences, I am also an passionate birdwatcher and nature lover. I find the four principles of OS as true in bird watching as it is in my lived reality.
