There. That's better (I'm still learning how to do things on this site)

And there is a practitioner named Valerie Morris vmorris@rbanet.co.za whom I have not met or worked with but I know that she lives in South Africa and has been doing Open Space there for quite some years.

When you do contact these colleagues please give them my warm regards.

Hi, Pernilla -
I look forward to learning from your rich experiences in Open Space.
Regarding practitioners of Open Space in South Africa - some of us have done OS there as part of projects where we were invited to come and do so. But for practitioners who live in South Africa - you might contact my dear South African colleagues at Changewright - to see who they know...

Pernilla - if you are very new to OST, there's an article describing it on the home page of my website (let's see if that link works for you) - the article is in Swedish as well as in English. There is a photo-illustration of the process here and other materials to read and look at in the "Open Space Technology / The Method" section.

If you have not done so already, you can also read Harrison Owen's book, "Open Space Technology: A User's Guide" to learn of the basic method, theory behind it, case studies and inner work of the facilitator - by the method's originator.

And of course if you keep in touch with Thomas and the fabulous folks at the Swedish Open Space Institute you will hear of training workshops and other gatherings in the Denmark-Sweden area (that we OpenSpaceniks affectionately call "Swenmark" after a world Open Space meeting we had there a few years ago jointly hosted by OS institutes of Sweden and Denmark).
We will also have our annual international gathering (World Open Space on Open Space) this year in Berlin, if that is something you might like to participate in.

If you have any questions about the method, please feel free to contact me directly at lisaheft[at]openingspace.net

Välkom, Pernilla! (is that correct?) - Welcome to the Open Space world community space. Did you know that there is a group on this site where you can share thoughts about Open Space...in Swedish? And several groups in English as well for different themes and topics....
