My interest in running a session and searching the web.
What surprised you the most about this method?
Its simplicity, the potential opportunity for making a difference and seeing some real change. I posted a Q on the blog and have made contact with lots of OS people. Confident enough to give it a go, so just waiting for the appropriate agenda item and logistical opportunity.
How does Open Space fit into what you do with organizations and / or communities?
As responsible for change management, the opportunity to engage people and make a real difference to the organisation, using a technique that has not been used before.
more about you
Worked at Roche for 14 years, involved with business processes, working with groups, facilitation, the role out of a tool for collecting clinical data electronically, and now global lead for CM.

Welcome, Keith, to the Open Space world community space - as Artur mentions, a sister site to the OSLIST (an ongoing English-language conversation among Open Space facilitators and enthusiasts from around the world). Feel free to join any regional, language-based or thematic Group you see here and also ask any questions you may have about the process here or on OSLIST. And you have read Harrison Owen's book, "Open Space Technology: A User's Guide", as well? If not, you may find that useful. We look forward to learning with and from you about all things Open Space...
