Profile Information

How did you first learn about OST?: In 1994 a friend of mine told me about it and I bought the book....and several days later I did a 2 day session with an artists group a few days latter. I was so enthused and a short time later I had the opportunity to attend a training with Harrison Owen.

What surprised you the most about this method?: OST capitalizes on the natural flow of conversation. It truly allows the gifts and insights of people in the room to be ignited. The process is so simple.

How does Open Space fit into what you do with organizations and / or communities?: I work with not for profits and use it as much as I can. It is not often that I get to use it over several days, but I have used it for full and 1/2 day. I also used it in the classroom when I was a college professor with great success.

more about you: I am a speaker, author and facilitator. I am at my best with not for profits and small communities. I work primarily in the areas of education and holistic health, health promotion and wellness.
