Profile Information

How did you first learn about OST?
I attended an event called Devoted and Disgruntled, lead by Improbably theatre
What surprised you the most about this method?
How much it mirrored basic human processes and allowed for such complexity and potential for conflict in such a safe and supported and effective way.
How does Open Space fit into what you do with organizations and / or communities?
The basic principles underpin all aspects of my work as both an artist (singer, songwriter, theatre maker) and facilitator.

Welcome, Beccy, to the Open Space world community space - a sister site to the OSLIST (an ongoing English-language conversation among Open Space facilitators and enthusiasts from around the world). Feel free to join any regional, language-based or thematic Group you see here (including the group checking in about ongoing plans for WOSonOS 2012 in London) and also ask any questions you may have about the process here or on OSLIST. And have you read Harrison Owen's book, "Open Space Technology: A User's Guide"? If not, it is a great description of the process and its origin, in the words of its originator. We look forward to learning with and from you - here and on OSLIST - about all things connected to the dialogue method called Open Space...
