How did you first learn about OST?
Management Consultant and Mentor Victor Pinedo who put me in contact with Harrison Owen.
What surprised you the most about this method?
The self-organizing aspect of it, how when certain minimal conditions are met, it catalyzes and runs through by itself, much like lighting up a firecracker mat.
How does Open Space fit into what you do with organizations and / or communities?
It is a technology that facilitates the creation of solutions to complex problems, plus it integrates diverse groups to work together.

Feel free to join any regional, language-based or thematic Group you see here and also ask any questions you may have about the process here or on OSLIST. And have you read Harrison's book, "Open Space Technology: A User's Guide"? If not, it is a great description of the process and its origin, in the words of its originator.
