Comment by Harold Shinsato on May 30, 2010 at 6:22pm: It looks like Scrum is starting to have an impact well beyond the Software world - but this is definitely a topic for the Software Agilistas as Scrum certainly was birthed in the software world even though it isn't specifically a management tool for programming, or even more intensely coding oriented like Extreme Programming. Harrison Owen spoke at a recent Scrum Alliance gathering, and it has been making some waves. Open Space has made an impact in the Agile world for many years now, as there are numerous Agile gatherings that use Open Space ideas if not explicitly OST like the first format of the Agile Alliance conferences (which are currently the main event in the agile world), and the AgileOpen events on the west coast.

What do folks think especially about Scrum and Open Space?
