Registered participants to WOSonOs2012 heading towards 150.  Yet over 90% of those are coming all the way from far away places abroad - a truly international event.

Very few participants from UK so far.  What a shame it would be for UK OS community to miss this doorstep global golden opportunity!

If you haven't registered yet, please do so here - we need your registration before the event.  And if you already have please spread the word.  London welcoming the world open spacers with few UK open spacers to welcome them, mmm, that won't do.  Come on, let's get the olympic spirits up, we can do it.  Look at who's coming - how can't you be exited the great people coming together soon!   (flyer)

Dear OpenSpace Beings,

I´ve just joined OpenSpaceWorld. I read Harrisons book and used OST with a group of volunteers, and I´ve observed a session addressing hate crime in Carmarthenshire. I´m hungry to explore, work with diverse groups of people and ultimately collaborate on some research.

I would like to work with experienced practicioners, shadowing, observing, on a voluntary basis. If you would like to invite me to observe or help, please get in touch. I am happy to travel anywhere within the UK, though the nearer to Bristol/ Cardiff the better. I´d also welcome contact from OST saplings like myself, if you are interested to engage in a creative process and see what happens.

Wishing you all peace and happiness,

Hello everyone.

I'm back here after a long absence, and looking forward to some interesting and stimulating discussions.

If you're interested, please take a look at the article I've just posted on the forum, Using Open Space Technology for Consumer Insight Discovery and Stak.... Your questions and comments will be very welcome.

Warm wishes,

Dear colleagues,

The new year is not as new anymore. The first month has already past. I hope all of you had a good start and a wonderful January.

The first Stammtisch took place already two months ago.

And so here it is:

an early reminder of the next, the 2nd, London-based OS-STAMMTISCH.

After a cosy first meeting in the beginning of December, the next Stammtisch will take place on Monday,  7th March: An evening to get to know each other, exange stories about OS or anything else, to chat or just have a drink; an informal get-together with collegues and friends working with (or being interested in) Open Space.

A table will be booked in a lovely Pub in central London. There will be enough space for all of us. So use the month that is left to reschedule your Monday-night dates or reserve a few hours in your calender!

The exact time and place will be anounced.

Looking forward to meeting you,

PS: Could you give me a brief feedback if you’d like to come? This would help with choosing a proper place. Please send email directly to Nils on

Hi guys. Wondered if there was any intention to set up a specific website for WOSonOS London 2012? I have started adding WOSonOS London 2012 at the bottom of appropriate emails to start to raise awareness of it, and it would be great at some time to include a link, and to link there from my website / events.

Meanwhile, I'll be adding more details shortly, but I'm co-hosting an Open Space Co-learning workshop in London Friday 28 Jan 2011, for complete beginners and also those with any level of experience to come and practice, share, nurture the community. It will be run as an Open Space and with a very accessible sliding scale £15 - 200

Hi folks, I was originally just visiting the UK but 18 months later am still here! Would love to hear about any OS events going on in the UK or any opportunities to get involved. I am an emerging OS practitioner, I have training but need more practice! I look forward to learning more about the people in this group and your experiences with OS.
